The extinct Huia - a bird that exhibited sexual dimorphism in beak shape. The male had a thick beak; the female had a long, decurved beak. This distinction allowed the pair to utilize different food resources, otherwise known as niche partitioning.April 29th, 2009: 100% Pure New Zealand
