Hey All, it's DJ Mega Mike. I went to see the production of MacHomer at the Walton Arts Center today and it was fantastic. I even got to meet Rick Miller, the star and creator of the show. He agreed to do a quick interview with me, which is linked bellow, over the phone. This was my first over the phone interview so it was a little shaky and last minute since we just agreed about it so I didn't realize the volume on me is turned up more than it should resulting in some nasal sounding speak and chuckles but for the most part it was a fantastic interview. The last performance of it is 05/31/09 at 2:00 at the Walton Arts Center. Go see it if you can, and if not at least check out his website at www.machomer.com.
"A hyper fast-forward meld of Shakespeare and The Simpsons" (San Francisco Chronicle), MacHomer is a "Comic Tour-de-Force" (Toronto Star) featuring "50 Simpsons voices that ring through the theatre with the Bard’s words... hilariously funny... the laughs are continuous." (L.A. Times). Rick Miller stars in this multimedia comedy that has taken the world by storm.

This week I played 2 episodes of The Clock (A Twilight Zone type of show with an emphasis on time), Past and Present and References Please, from the 1940's. Also a detective film-noir type of show called Broadway is my Beat. Special Guest DJ, DJ Kansas appeared too. Enjoy! 06-06-09
The Seagull will be premiering at the University Theater tonight at 8:00pm. It will continue until Saturday the 17th at that time and then Sunday at 2:00pm. Please support the University Theater (and me, playing the part of Yakov :p ) and go watch what many say is one of Chekhov's (who is probably one of the most renown playwrights next to Shakespeare to date) best plays. If you have any questions e-mail me at djmegamike@gmail.com
